Available Courses

The TraderNest Academy offers a growing catalog of courses, each focused on a specific aspect of trading psychology and discipline. Every course is designed to be completed in your own time — there are no deadlines, and you can revisit lessons whenever you need a refresher.

Course Format

Each course follows a consistent structure:

  1. Introduction — An overview of the topic, why it matters, and what you will learn.
  2. Lessons — Typically 4 to 8 text-based lessons, each taking 5 to 15 minutes to read. Lessons include real trading examples, psychological research, and practical frameworks.
  3. Exercises — Hands-on activities at the end of each lesson. These might be journal prompts, self-assessment questionnaires, or specific actions to take during your next trading session.
  4. Quiz — A short quiz at the end of the course to reinforce key concepts. Quizzes are not graded — they are designed to help you internalize the material.
  5. Completion certificate — A visual indicator on your profile showing which courses you have completed.

Current Course Catalog

Below is the list of courses currently available in the Academy. New courses are added regularly.

1. Mastering Your Trading Emotions

Lessons: 6 | Duration: ~45 minutes total

This foundational course covers the core emotional challenges every trader faces: fear, greed, hope, and regret. You will learn Jared Tendler's framework for identifying your emotional "triggers" and develop practical techniques to manage them in real time. Topics include recognizing tilt, the difference between process emotions and outcome emotions, and building an emotional reset routine.

2. Breaking the Revenge Trading Cycle

Lessons: 5 | Duration: ~35 minutes total

Revenge trading — taking impulsive trades to recover losses — is one of the most destructive patterns in trading. This course explains why revenge trading happens neurologically, how to recognize it in the moment, and specific strategies to interrupt the cycle before it costs you money. Includes a post-loss decision framework you can print and keep at your desk.

3. Risk Management Psychology

Lessons: 7 | Duration: ~50 minutes total

Knowing the math of risk management is not enough — you need to follow it consistently. This course addresses the psychological reasons traders violate their own risk rules: the "just this once" mentality, anchoring to a specific P&L target, and the illusion of control. You will learn how to make risk rules feel automatic rather than restrictive.

4. Building a Pre-Market Routine

Lessons: 4 | Duration: ~25 minutes total

What you do before you start trading matters as much as what you do during a trade. This course helps you design a pre-market routine that prepares you mentally: reviewing your plan, setting daily goals, checking your emotional state, and deciding on your maximum risk budget for the session. Includes a customizable pre-market checklist template.

5. Thinking in Probabilities

Lessons: 6 | Duration: ~40 minutes total

Based on Mark Douglas's work in Trading in the Zone, this course trains you to accept that any individual trade outcome is random, while your edge plays out over a series of trades. You will work through exercises that help you detach from individual trade outcomes and focus on process execution instead of P&L.

6. The Post-Trade Review

Lessons: 4 | Duration: ~30 minutes total

Most traders skip the review process entirely, or only look at the P&L number. This course teaches you how to conduct a thorough post-trade review that examines your decision-making process, not just the result. You will learn the difference between good trades with bad outcomes and bad trades with good outcomes, and why this distinction is critical for improvement.

Recommended Courses

If AI Hawk has detected behavioral patterns in your trading, the Academy will show recommended courses at the top of the catalog page. These are matched to your specific weaknesses. For example, if AI Hawk detects frequent revenge trading, the "Breaking the Revenge Trading Cycle" course will appear as a top recommendation.

Tip: Complete the recommended courses first. They are specifically matched to the patterns costing you the most money, so they will have the highest impact on your profitability.
