The TraderNest Academy is a built-in education platform designed to help you master the mental side of trading. Unlike generic trading courses that focus on chart patterns or indicators, the Academy zeroes in on trading psychology and discipline — the areas where most traders actually fail.

Even traders with a solid technical edge often lose money because of emotional decision-making: revenge trading after a loss, cutting winners too early out of fear, over-leveraging out of greed, or ignoring their own rules when they feel confident. The Academy gives you structured, evidence-based training to overcome these challenges.

The Philosophy Behind the Academy

The TraderNest Academy is grounded in the work of leading experts in trading psychology and behavioral science:

1. Jared Tendler — Author of The Mental Game of Trading, whose framework for understanding and resolving emotional patterns in trading forms the foundation of several Academy courses.
2. Mark Douglas — Author of Trading in the Zone, whose concepts around probabilistic thinking and accepting uncertainty are woven throughout the curriculum.
3. Daniel Kahneman — Nobel laureate and author of Thinking, Fast and Slow, whose research on cognitive biases (loss aversion, anchoring, overconfidence) informs how the Academy teaches you to recognize and counteract mental traps.

The Academy does not teach you what to trade — it teaches you how to execute your trading plan consistently, regardless of what the market is doing.

What You Will Find in the Academy

The Academy contains three types of learning materials:

1. Courses — Multi-lesson programs on specific topics such as revenge trading, risk management psychology, and building a daily routine. Each course includes text-based lessons, reflective exercises, and short quizzes to reinforce key concepts.
2. Exercises — Standalone activities you can do daily or weekly, like pre-market checklists, post-trade journaling prompts, and visualization techniques. These are practical tools you can integrate into your trading routine immediately.
3. Sprints — Short, focused improvement challenges (typically 5 to 14 days) that target a specific habit. For example, a "Zero Revenge Trades" sprint challenges you to go seven consecutive trading days without taking a revenge trade. Sprints connect directly to your AI Hawk pattern detection data, so your progress is tracked automatically.

How the Academy Connects to Your Trading Data

What makes TraderNest Academy different from reading a book or watching YouTube videos is that it is connected to your actual trading data. When AI Hawk detects that you have a revenge trading problem, the Academy can recommend the specific course that addresses that pattern. When you complete a sprint, the system checks your live trade data to verify whether you actually succeeded.

This creates a feedback loop:

1. AI Hawk detects a behavioral pattern (e.g., overtrading on Mondays)
2. The Academy recommends relevant learning material
3. You complete a course or sprint
4. AI Hawk tracks whether the pattern improves

Plan Requirements

The Academy is available on the Starter plan ($24.95/month) and above. Free plan users can see the course catalog and descriptions, but cannot access the lesson content. This lets you preview what is available before deciding to upgrade.
