Risk Disclaimer

In short: TraderNest is a trading journal and analytics tool for educational and informational purposes. It is not financial, investment or trading advice. TraderNest never executes trades and never holds your money or crypto. Trading crypto assets and crypto derivatives, such as perpetual futures with leverage, carries a high risk of losing money quickly. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
1. What TraderNest is
TraderNest, a trade name of SHD Services (the Netherlands), is software that helps you record, measure and review your own trading. It imports your trade history from exchanges or files, calculates statistics, detects behavioral patterns in your past trades and lets you compare your results with the rules you wrote yourself.
2. What TraderNest is not
- Not financial or investment advice. Nothing in TraderNest, on this website, in our emails, blog or social media is a personal recommendation to buy, sell, hold or otherwise trade any financial instrument or crypto-asset.
- Not a broker, exchange or crypto-asset service provider. TraderNest does not execute, route or place orders, does not manage portfolios, does not exchange crypto-assets and does not hold or transfer funds or crypto on your behalf. We are not licensed by, or registered with, the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) or De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) as an investment firm or crypto-asset service provider, because we do not provide those services.
- Read-only connections. Exchange connections use read-only API keys. Never give TraderNest, or anyone else, an API key with trading or withdrawal rights. If an exchange offers it, also restrict your key to read-only and futures data.
- Not a signal service. We do not publish trade ideas, entries, exits, price targets or leverage recommendations.
3. AI features (AI Hawk)
- Hawk Eyes, Hawk Alerts, Hawk Plan, Hawk Chat and Trade Scan analyze your own past trades with automated statistics and an AI language model. Their output is analytical and educational. It is not a recommendation for any specific trade or asset.
- AI output can be incomplete, wrong or based on a small sample. Patterns in your history do not predict what the market will do next. Always check the numbers yourself.
- Suggestions from Hawk are about your process and behavior, such as following your own rules or taking a break after a loss. Whether and how you trade is always your own decision and your own responsibility.
4. Risks of trading crypto and crypto derivatives
- High risk of loss. Most retail traders lose money. Crypto prices are highly volatile and can move sharply within minutes.
- Leverage. Leveraged products such as perpetual futures magnify losses as much as gains. Positions can be liquidated quickly, and you can lose all of the margin you put in.
- Exchange and counterparty risk. Exchanges can be hacked, fail, freeze withdrawals or change their rules. Many crypto exchanges are not authorised in the European Union. If you use an exchange outside the EU, the protections of EU law (including MiCA) may not apply to you.
- No guarantee schemes. Crypto-assets are not covered by the Dutch deposit guarantee scheme or the investor compensation scheme.
- Legal and tax. Rules for crypto and crypto derivatives differ by country and change often. You are responsible for checking what is allowed where you live and for your own taxes.
5. Results, statistics and examples
Past results, including your own, do not guarantee future results. Screenshots, dashboards, chat conversations and numbers shown on this website are examples with sample data unless clearly stated otherwise. They are not typical or promised results. Market-wide statistics we quote come from the public sources named next to them.
6. Partners, creators and giveaways
Some creators and communities promote TraderNest as partners. They may receive benefits such as commissions, free accounts or prizes to give away, and they must label their posts as advertising. Their opinions and trading content are their own and are not advice from TraderNest. See our partner terms and giveaway terms.
7. Age
TraderNest is intended for people aged 18 and over. Do not use TraderNest if you are under 18.
8. Your responsibility
You decide whether, what and how you trade. If you need advice that fits your personal situation, talk to an independent, licensed financial adviser. Our Terms and Conditions also apply.
