Joining a Community
Joining a Community
TraderNest Communities are groups of traders who share insights, track progress together, and hold each other accountable. Joining a community can be one of the most impactful things you do for your trading — having a group of people working toward the same goals creates accountability that is hard to replicate alone.
What Is a TraderNest Community?
A TraderNest community is a private or public group within the platform where members can:
- View a leaderboard — See anonymized or named performance rankings based on metrics like win rate, profit factor, consistency, and discipline score.
- Share insights — Post observations, trade setups, and lessons learned with the group.
- Participate in discussions — Chat threads organized by topic, similar to a forum or Discord channel.
- Join group sprints — Compete in Academy sprints alongside other community members, adding a social accountability layer.
- Compare performance — See how your key metrics stack up against the community average (all comparisons are anonymized by default).

Community Features
Leaderboard
Every community has a leaderboard that ranks members by selected performance metrics. The community creator chooses which metrics are displayed (e.g., win rate, profit factor, discipline score). Leaderboards update automatically as members sync new trades. Participation in the leaderboard is opt-in — you can choose to appear or remain hidden.
Discussions
The discussion section works like a simple forum. Members can create threads on any trading-related topic. Threads support text, links, and basic formatting. This is where community members share trade ideas, discuss market conditions, or ask for feedback on their strategies.
Shared Insights
Community members can choose to share specific AI Hawk insights or pattern analyses with the group. For example, if you discover that trading before 10 AM consistently loses money, you can share that insight so others in the community can check if the same pattern applies to them.
Group Sprints
Community administrators can launch group sprints where all members participate in the same Academy sprint simultaneously. This adds a competitive and social element to the sprint. You can see how many community members have maintained their streak, creating positive peer pressure.
Community Guidelines
Every community has its own rules set by the creator. However, all TraderNest communities must follow the platform guidelines:
- No sharing of financial advice or trade signals as recommendations.
- No harassment, spam, or abusive behavior.
- No sharing of other members' private data.
- Discussions should focus on improvement, not bragging about P&L.
Leaving a Community
You can leave a community at any time. Go to the community page, click the settings icon, and select Leave Community. Your data (posts, discussions) will remain visible to other members unless you delete them before leaving.
