Can't Log In
If you are having trouble logging into your TraderNest account, this guide covers the most common causes and their solutions. Work through the steps in order — most login issues are resolved within the first few steps.
Step 1: Check Your Credentials
Before trying anything else, double-check the basics:
- Email address: Make sure you are using the exact email address you registered with. TraderNest accounts are case-insensitive for email, but check for typos.
- Password: Passwords are case-sensitive. Check that Caps Lock is not turned on. If you use a password manager, make sure it is filling in the correct credentials for app.tradernest.ai (not a different site).
Step 2: Reset Your Password
If you cannot remember your password or suspect it is wrong:
Go to the Login Page
Navigate to app.tradernest.ai and click "Forgot Password?" below the login form.
Enter Your Email
Enter the email address associated with your TraderNest account and click Send Reset Link.
Check Your Email
You will receive an email from [email protected] with a password reset link. The link expires after 1 hour.
Set a New Password
Click the link in the email. You will be taken to a page where you can set a new password. Choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters, mix of letters, numbers, and special characters).
Log In
Go back to app.tradernest.ai and log in with your email and new password.
Step 3: Check Email Verification
If you recently created your account, you may need to verify your email before you can log in:
- Check your email for a verification message from [email protected].
- Click the Verify Email button or link in the email.
- After verification, go back to the login page and try again.
If you cannot find the verification email, check your spam folder. If it is not there, go to the login page and click Resend Verification Email (this option appears when you try to log in with an unverified account).
Step 4: Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
Sometimes old cached data or cookies can interfere with the login process:
- Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac). Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files." Click "Delete data."
- Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac). Select "Cookies" and "Cache." Click "Clear Now."
- Safari: Go to Safari → Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Find and remove data for tradernest.ai.
After clearing, close and reopen your browser, then try logging in again.
Step 5: Try Incognito / Private Browsing
Open an incognito (Chrome) or private (Firefox/Safari) window and try logging in at app.tradernest.ai. If login works in incognito but not in your normal browser, the issue is likely caused by a browser extension, cached data, or a cookie conflict.
Common extensions that can interfere with login:
- Ad blockers (uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus)
- Privacy extensions (Privacy Badger, Ghostery)
- VPN extensions
- JavaScript-blocking extensions (NoScript)
Try temporarily disabling these extensions and logging in again.
Step 6: Check for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Issues
If you have enabled 2FA and cannot access your authenticator app:
- Use a backup code: When you set up 2FA, you were given backup codes. Enter one of these codes instead of the 6-digit authenticator code.
- Authenticator app lost: If you lost access to your authenticator app and do not have backup codes, contact [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and help you regain access.
Step 7: Check the Service Status
In rare cases, TraderNest may be experiencing a temporary service issue:
- If the login page itself is not loading, check your internet connection first.
- Try accessing tradernest.ai (the marketing site). If the marketing site loads but app.tradernest.ai does not, there may be a temporary issue with the app server.
- Wait a few minutes and try again. Most service issues are resolved quickly.
